Being the crazy, spontaneous family that we are, we rung in the New Year watching Anderson Cooper, taking down Christmas decorations and eating black-eyed peas (oh and Randy and I did manage to sneak in a champagne toast at midnight)! We told Joanna that, since it was a special occasion, she could stay up until midnight to watch the ball drop, but after a couple black-eyed peas and some banging on her toy drum, she was ready for bed at 7:30! hahaa! Ah well, maybe next year she will make it :)

Kensley loved those peas, too! ew. Y'all are cuh-RAY-zee in this New Year staying up late and all. We were ASLEEP by 10.
