HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOANNA!!

I can't believe my little baby is already 2 years old! Joanna went from one birthday party to the next this month -- blowing out candles at Grandma and Grandpa McKinley's, Grandma and Grandpa Heusser's and at home in New Jersey!

Here is Joanna at her first Birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa McKinley's. As you can see from the picture, she was a little shy about being the center of attention and wasn't quite sure what to do with the giant cake and candle sitting in front of her.

After having cake, presents and games at her first party, Joanna quickly became a fan of the the whole Birthday Party scene and starting asking for a party every time she woke up from a nap.....your wish is my command princess :) Here is Joanna at her second birthday party at Grandma and Grandpa Heusser's. As you can see, Joanna was more confident about having everyone sing to her and she was even more anxious to dive right into her cake (literally -- we had to mask the fingerprints she left in the corner) :)

Here is Joanna loving her Dora cake!

By the time her actual birthday rolled around, we were all so tired of cake we couldn't stand to think of eating another piece :) So, rather than having a huge cake on her birthday for just the three of us (Joanna, me and my mom) we decided to give her an individual cupcake -- the perfect size for sugar overloaded party goers :)

As you can see, Joanna was a pro at blowing out her candles by the time her birthday came. She was so eager to blow out her candles, that I had to hold the cupcake on the other side of the table while we sang to her....she was blowing her little heart out through the entire song -- hahaa!

Eating MORE cake! :)

Another picture of Joanna and Mama. Joanna is wearing the same crown she wore the day she was born and for her first birthday. I am planning on continuing the tradition as long as the crown will hold-up (we joke that by her 18th birthday there will only be one pom-pom and three letters hanging off the crown -- hahaa!)

I LOVE YOU JOJO-BEAN!!

You are, and will always be, my little princess!!
