HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This year Halloween was sort of a bust for the Heusser household....We knew that Randy was going to be gone on a trip over the weekend and we also knew that I would be in no shape to chase an overly excited Joanna around the neighborhood. So, the plan was to just stay home, make some pumpkin waffles and enjoy an evening of watching Halloween themed kids cartoons! Joanna and I pigged out on the pumpkin waffles (I don't think I have ever seen her eat so much in my life) and we both got our share of ghosts and goblins watching a marathon of Dora, Max and Ruby, Pinky Dinky Doo and Little Bear (although, now whenever we go into a dark room in the house, Joanna comes screaming.....'monnnnnster!'). Because of our plan to stay home this year, we did not buy Joanna a costume, however, we did have plenty of Halloween outfits for her to wear during the week. Here is a picture of her getting ready for school (the giant scrape on her nose is from a face plant on the carpet a few days earlier....). I tried to take several other pictures with her in different outfits.....however, as usual, I couldn't get anything but a blur or scrunched up face with her eyes closed :)
