We have had some very unusual (or perhaps they are usual) swings in weather lately here in good ole New Jersey. We woke up to a blanket of beautiful snow earlier this week! As you can see, the snow actually was thick enough to stick to the trees, and in fact, was so thick that piles of it are still around despite the warming temperatures later in the week.

Joanna has seen snow a couple of times, although she has yet to actually touch/play in it. I was very tempted to let her roll around in the snow this past week, but I could sense that she was starting to catch a cold, so I decided against it. I'm very glad that I did, because 5 days later she and I (and now Randy) are still trying to fight off this stubborn cold! I think the three of us just keep passing the same thing around to each other :)

Even though she couldn't go outside, she still was so excited to see all of the snow! Here is her reaction :)

Here is a random picture I took of Joanna eating her dinner the night before the pictures above were taken. Joanna loves her new plate (thanks to her BFF Kensley) and especially loves to move her food from one sectioned area to another....if you look close enough, you can see that the snow had already started to fall

Joanna's face as she's looking out at the snow is the cutest!
