Baby, It's COLD Outside!

We're battin down the hatches and weathering a pretty blusty winter storm over here in good ole NJ. The high for the past 4 days has been 19 degrees! That's not even the worst part....we have had to deal with freezing winds, which makes the actual temperature feel like it's 3 degrees outside (yes, 3 degrees....I don't know why they just don't call it zero). We have not had any noticable snow fall yet, thank goodness, but the news assures us that the snow is on its way!

As you can see from the look on Joanna's face, it's no fun being cooped up inside all day :) There's only so many versions of itsy bitsy spider she can take! After 3 days of living like hermits, we decided to take Joanna out for her first movie!

There's no better way to spend a day with bad weather! We tried to pick a movie we thought would be fairly empty, so we decided to go with 'Meet the Spartans'--we chose wisely. The three of us were the only ones in the theatre (probably no surprise to those of you who saw this movie...). Joanna did great! The only sounds we heard from her were squeels of delight everytime there was a music interlude. She sat on Randy's lap to watch the movie and actually seemed to be pretty in to the whole experience. Maybe she has inherited her parents' love of seeing movies???

Wouldn't you know...the snow flurries are beginning to fall :)

Wow! We are so impressed with Joanna's movie-going skills! She looks so cute in that hat!
