We packed our bags and headed home to Arizona the first two weeks in April to celebrate my mom's birthday, our 5th wedding anniversary (pictures in a separate post), Rob and Mahya's wedding and Easter! Talk about killing a bunch of birds with one stone :) We had an amazing time visiting with everyone, but as tends to be the case every time we fly home, our trip was far too short. Even so, here are some of the many pictures we took during our stay in Arizona.
Grandma McKinley took Joanna to feed the ducks a lot and Joanna loved it! Here is Grandma showing Joanna how to break the bread and throw it to the ducks.
Joanna had more fun harassing the ducks rather than feeding them. She did throw a few pieces to them, but when they didn't come to get it (because the bread landed only inches away from her) she got bored and decided running after them would be more fun.
